Iain Stirling is One Direction star Liam Payne's lookalike in throwback clip

Iain Stirling uploaded a short clip onto Twitter on Friday from his time as children's TV presenter. And in the footage - that is over a decade old - the comedian, 32, looks identical to a young Liam Payne of One Direction fame.

As young adult Iain takes part in the funny sketch - that sees him on the phone to a pizza delivery company before a skeleton knocks on his door with the food - he strongly resembles the boy band icon with his sleek mop of chestnut hair.

He was also styled in a check shirt and cardigan combination - an ensemble that members of One Direction often sported in their heyday.

Iain shared the funny clip to cheer up his fans after he had to postpone his comedy gig in London on Thursday night after feeling unwell amid
