Iain Stirling has hinted that Love Island could be filmed in the UK this summer as bosses look to relocate amid the nationwide lockdown.
The Scottish voiceover said the ITV2 dating show could follow in the success of I'm A Celebrity which was forced to swap the Australian jungle for Gwrych Castle in Wales.In a bid to keep in line with harsh travel bans and social distancing guidelines, telly bosses may have to resort to shooting the hot dating show in a location across the UK.Love Island, which is usually filmed in Mallorca, was shelved this year due to coronavirus restrictions which halted the production of dozens of reality and TV shows.
