Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.
A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.
He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.
Manchester United fans now have the opportunity to bid for a rare number plate reading 'UNIITED'. The seller has owned the number plate for close to a decade, but he's now decided it's time to part ways with the UNIITED plate, which is the closest possible legal arrangement of characters allowed to spell the word ‘United’ on a UK registration.
The current owner registered it directly from the DVLA and this is the first time it has ever been available on the open market.
Ian, 44, spoke to the Manchester Evening News to give some detail on his rare number plate: "I’ve had the number plate since 2012.
It gets so much attention. Everywhere I go people take pictures of it." "Some people ask if I’m a player, others ask if I work for the club. "The best one was recent: I was in the car and someone asked me what the plate meant and I said ‘ah, it’s not mine, it belongs to my Portuguese mate who lives in Manchester and he’s lent me the car for a while." Ian has supported United all his life.
