Former Manchester United youngster Hannibal Mejbri has claimed he is better than the club's reported transfer target Chris Rigg.
Mejbri was shipped out of Old Trafford by former boss Erik ten Hag after he failed to live up to expectations at Carrington.
United initially parted with around £9.3m, including add-ons, to secure the Tunisian international in August 2019 from Monaco.
After just 13 appearances and one goal, Mejbri was sold to Burnley in August 2024. However, despite struggling to make the grade at the Red Devils, the 22-year-old has made himself a regular for the Clarets, and his confidence appears not to have been affected.
