"I was not letting my Pomeranian die without a fight": Woman breaks arm in three places 'saving her dogs from Bully breeds'

A woman has told how her arm was broken in three places as she battled to protect her dogs from two others she said attacked them.

Cheryl West, 53, has spoken out about her terrifying ordeal to warn other dog walkers and parents with children. Cheryl, who has seven dogs, was walking four of them along Town Lane in Denton, Tameside, earlier this month - Pomeranians Jade and Jasmine and Chihuahuas Poppy and Teddy.

She said she saw two dogs she believes were 'of the Bully breed' off their leads on a small field near to a mini-roundabout at around 10.45am.

Cheryl and the four small dogs were on the road beside the field. She said: "I looked into the field and could see the dogs on the far side.
