A man has sparked a debate after revealing he was 'kidfished' by a woman on a dating app. The bachelor, with aspirations of settling down and no current ties to marriage or children, opened up about his frustrations on Reddit.

Seeking companionship, he turned to online platforms to connect with potential partners in his area but kept encountering women who were not 'truthful' about having children.On the social platform, he vented: "I'm so tired of women leaving the 'kids' box unanswered on their profile only to have them drop the kids bomb on me during the date.

I know, I know I could ask if they have kids prior to arranging a date but does there really have to be that much deception in the first place?"He detailed his habit of declining matches with women who avoid questions regarding children, arguing for more honesty about such significant past ‘life choices’.

His frustration grew apparent as he shared: "I normally automatically no swipe women who don't answer the question because I just assume they're trying to trick me, but every once in a while I think you know what maybe I'm being paranoid.
