Love Island star Ruchee Gurung is one of ten singletons heading to the iconic ITV2 villa this summer in order to find love.The beautician, 24, from Sutton is hoping to find love in the Love Island villa this summer after previously turning the ITV2 dating show down in 2021.

Speaking to press, including OK!, Ruchee admitted she refused the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity after being scouted two years ago as she had started seeing someone and she also felt "really young".

However, after being scouted again through Instagram for the 2023 series, Ruchee jumped at the opportunity as she is now single and has her "s**t together".

Ruchee said: "I was scouted through Instagram. And actually, they reached out to me a couple of years ago as well, I think it was 2021, they reached out to me for the winter one. "And at the time, I was actually kind of seeing someone and I was getting to know him.
