I've studied wine at WSET at both levels one and two, and I've been looking over the level three syllabus as I try to expand my knowledge.
As a result I'm closely associated with wine by those who know me - and it's not an uncommon gift to receive. This means that I usually have a few more bottles than I strictly need and have found it to be quite a challenge to actually get to drink them before they spoil.
There's something really disappointing about having to pour a perfectly good bottle down the drain because you weren't able to finish it all before oxygen got to it and made it taste...
