As the nation toils to get healthier, high-protein foods have become all the rage recently. From snacks, microwave meals and even fakeaways, it seems like everybody is getting in on the act.
According to experts, the benefits of a protein pudding as opposed to regular one is that they contain less sugar, are packed with protein to help you build muscle and fill you up enough so you eat less calories in your next meal.
So with this in mind I decided to buy six puddings from Aldi and Morrisons to see which rated best for taste and protein to pound ratio.
In the interest of fairness all the puddings were chocolate flavoured so as not to encourage any bias and ranged in size from 180g - 250g. Savvy shopping: First up was Müller Rice Protein, a healthy remix of one of the German company's most popular products.
