After months of what was thought to have been viral vomiting infections, doctors finally uncovered the real reason for his horrific symptoms.
Medics found a medulloblastoma tumour in the central base of Samuel’s brain, close to the top of his spinal cord. Aged just five-years-old at the time, further tests revealed the cancer had also begun to spread to another part of Samuel's brain.
The nightmarish circumstances were 'unbelievably tough', said terrified mum-of-three Jessica. Brave Samuel started a gruelling programme of treatment, and showed an 'amazing ability on keeping focused'.
