According to the latest data, the quiet suburb of Oldham currently has the highest rate in Greater Manchester. There were 95 cases in the seven days to 8 July, an increase of 150 per cent on the week before.

It means Alt has an infection rate of 1,368 cases per 100,000 people. The wider borough of Oldham also has the highest infection rate of all ten in Greater Manchester.
