A woman has confessed to charging her family members per head for meals at her house over the festive period, stating that it would be too costly otherwise.

Known as @abilourichards on social media, Abi revealed that she billed her eight adult family members approximately £30 each for three days of meals at her home.

Although she wouldn't normally request them to chip in directly, she was relieved when they offered, as it prevented her from being significantly out of pocket.

In a TikTok video, she detailed her extensive festive shopping trip to Aldi and Tesco, which covered meals for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and Boxing Day.
