A mum and daughter duo who made the life-changing decision to take control of their health have revealed their incredible transformations.

Jennifer Stack and her daughter Marie knew they needed to make major changes after Marie was diagnosed with prediabetes. Determined to avoid progressing towards Type 2 Diabetes, the pair, from Chadderton, decided to sign up to Slimming World in January 2024.

Jennifer weighed just over 10 stone when she joined the weight loss group – saying although she didn’t look overweight, the 63-year-old felt as though she was carrying excess weight on her small frame.

The mum, who works as a library assistant, often found herself opting for looser, flowy clothing and avoided anything that might show her stomach.
