A woman has revealed how she still suffers nightmares after her ex-boyfriend launched a horrific attack on her in her university flat.
Adam Penny, from Standish in Wigan, strangled the woman and viciously bit her on her arm during the nasty attack at the shared University of Hull accommodation, Hull Live reports.
His victim said that during the attack, he put his hand down her throat to try and keep her quiet as she desperately screamed.
After security burst in to help, he cruelly told them 'she's going crazy, she's on antidepressants'. Penny's victim described him as 'jealous' and 'horrible' as she bravely spoke to tell other young women facing similar violent domestic situations not to be afraid to go to the police to try to seek help.
