Congratulations are in order for Carlos Alcaraz who has been crowned Wimbledon men’s singles champion after winning against Novak Djokovic in a dramatic match on Sunday, 14 July.
To mark the win, Kate Middleton presented the 21 year old tennis champion with the Wimbledon men’s trophy in what is her second public appearance since she shared the news of her cancer diagnosis back in March.
Ahead of the game, the Princess Of Wales received a standing ovation from the crowd as she took to her seat in the Royal Box alongside her daughter Princess Charlotte and her younger sister Pippa Matthews.
For the occasion, 42 year old Kate, who is the patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, looked sensational in a stunning purple dress which featured a tartan bow on the chest - a detail that may be familiar to royal fans.
