After 36 gripping episodes, the 2024 season of Married at First Sight UK has finally drawn to a close on E4.This year, audiences were kept on the edge of their seats as 24 brave singletons took the plunge and agreed to marry a complete stranger.

Guided solely by the advice of the experts, these daring newlyweds embarked on a journey in search of 'true' love on the hit reality show.However, despite the seemingly sound counsel from experts Paul Brunson, Mel Schilling, and Charlene Douglas, many of the couples seemed mismatched - leading to more turmoil than romance.Recent reports suggest that only one pair of the twelve couples who tied the knot has managed to stay together.

The rest either didn't make it through the entire experiment, or their relationship crumbled soon after filming ended. As a dedicated viewer of MAFS UK, I could list numerous issues with this series, and it seems other fans share my sentiments, reports the Mirror.

Unlike the inaugural series of Married at First Sight UK, which aired on Channel 4 in 2015, the revamped version on E4 appears to prioritise drama and chaos over meaningful relationships.
