When Christine Blake tells people her age, she’s often met with disbelief. At the age of 71, the grandmother-of-four looks younger than her years.
After undergoing a facelift and an upper and lower eye lift mid 2022, she has no regrets and feels just as good as she looks. “It's really funny because when I was younger I didn't really realise that I was particularly attractive.
My dad always told me I was beautiful, which was lovely, and gave me a lot of confidence throughout my later life. I've never had low self-esteem, and I think that's because of my dad,” she says. “I trawled through my younger life thinking I was just the same as all the rest of the girls, but I still keep up with all my old school friends and they say ‘you’ve always looked glamorous, Chrissy’.
I had children very young and I was consumed with them for many years of my life. It struck me at about 40 that I could turn heads.” Despite having four sons and being surrounded by smelly socks and football, Christine, who works full time running her own business as a PA, has always taken the time to pamper herself.
