With ITV’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! back on our screens on Sunday 19 November, a whole new host of celebrities are getting ready to swap their day-to-day lives for bushtucker trials and a diet of rice and beans.
Among those, is former UKIP leader Nigel Farage, with one political expert claiming that Nigel’s stint on the show could allow him to “connect with a new generation” while also making him a “man of the people”.
Speaking to bettingsites.co.uk, political expert Matt Goodwin claimed that the politician’s time Down Under is a “unique opportunity” for 59 year old Nigel to connect with viewers, and voters, at home. “I suspect he will connect with a new audience.
He's already big on things like TikTok, he's already quite well known among Generation Z and he will be going into this thinking, ‘I've got a unique opportunity to raise the visibility of my brand, to connect with a new generation of voters, to show an older generation of voters that I wasn't really what the media said I was’,” he said.
