I'm a Celebrity. . . Get Me Of Here! has been vandalised, just as work on the new series was about to begin. Three children were seen "demolishing the battlements" of the Grade One-listed Gwrych Castle near Abergele on the afternoon of Sunday, September 7, shortly before it closed to the public to allow TV crews access.

It's the second time the Conwy venue has acted as the base for the hit reality show - hosted by Ant and Dec - after plans to use its usual Australian location were scrapped in 2020 due to coronavirus restrictions.
