News that the food critic had quit the jungle emerged on Monday, 27 November after a statement was issued by ITV bosses. A spokesperson said: "Unfortunately Grace Dent has left the show on medical grounds.
She has been a great campmate and will be missed by her fellow celebrities and viewers alike." Just hours after the announcement, Grace was spotted leaving Australia as she checked into her flight home at Brisbane Airport.The 50 year old looked tired and her clothes looked noticeably looser than when she arrived.
Grace checked in for the 23:25 Singapore Airlines flight to Singapore for the first leg of her journey and was accompanied by security.
