The fallout from covid meant instead of the heat and jungle plantlife, the contestants had to live in the spooky surroundings of a historic castle while contending with some of the UK own creepy crawlies.

Fans of the ITV competition will be happy to hear the new series will be going back to its roots as restrictions have lifted meaning Australia is back on the map.

Though there is no air date set as yet and the new series will be brought forward to prevent clashing with the World Cup in November.
