The ITV show is poised to go ahead later this year, despite the coronavirus pandemic, but family and friends of the celebrities will be stopped from following them to the Australian jungle.
A TV source told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: "Having no friends or family flown out will be a big blow to celebrities. "Producers have even involved them in recent years by taking them into the jungle in the final days to create heartfelt scenes.
