There may not be the kind of Aussie creepy-crawlies I’m A Celeb fans are used to in this year’s show. But it looks as if there will be plenty of creepiness of another kind.
Locals caught a glimpse of what might be in store at haunted Gwrych Castle in Abergele, North Wales, when the hit ITV show’s crew tested their pyrotechnical wizardry before the launch next Sunday.
Ten ghostly figures made of shimmering fire were shot 100ft up into the night sky, drawing gasps from onlookers. The apparitions, with long orange and red flaming bodies and round heads floating above them, gave a glimpse of what to ex-spectre in the show after Covid forced its relocation from the jungle.
