Kim, 82, believes that Coleen, unlike other contestants, wasn't drawn to the show by her reported £1.5million fee, but for a more personal reason.She said: "I don't know the lady, I've never met the lady, I can't imagine why she'd want to go in, she's got a great amount of money.

It's possible that she wants to see how far she copes. I don't know why she's going in. If I had all her money [I wouldn't], but maybe she wants to prove to her sons or maybe she wants some limelight for a change, without her husband."The Rooneys boast a reported combined fortune of £115 million, thanks to Wayne's football career, sponsorship deals, and other investments.

With this in mind, Kim echoed to Reach PLC via Which Bingo: "I don't know anything bad about her, why she's doing it when she's worth millions [I don't know], but maybe she wants to prove to her family that your mum is a toughie, maybe she is, I wait to see." Coleen says every day life for her mostly consists of juggling commitments with her four sons — Kai, 15, Klay, 11, Kit, eight, and Cass, six — so will therefore find jungle life a stark contrast to her normal routine.
