He was proved right last night when Giovanna was named champion and he collected a massive windfall from the bookies. Mario's bet was placed with odds of 9-1 meaning he landed a whopping £9,000.
Speaking before her win, he told The Sun : "I've got a cheeky bet on my sister - from day one - so I'll be pretty happy. I got nine to one odds and I put £1,000 on.... "If she doesn't she owes me grand." Giovanna has been tipped for big things after her triumph on the show and Mario has predicted
