I’m A Celeb star Alan Halsall’s ex Lucy-Jo Hudson took to Instagram to “put the record straight” after Alan opened up about his divorce and co-parenting daughter Sienna with former co-star Lucy.

Alan known for his role as Tyrone Dobbs on Coronation Street, told his I’m A Celebrity campmates, including Dean McCullough, how he met his ex on set and their subsequent breakup, steering clear of any controversial remarks.

Alan said: "Lucy left Corrie in about 2005, then we got married in 2009. We then split up after Sienna was born. I love what I've got, even now I'm on my own, I love it when it's me and Sienna and that'll change I'm sure, that'll be different at some point but I've never done dating apps." The pair met on the set of the ITV soap, where Lucy-Jo played Katy Harris, and tied the knot in 2009, but their relationship turned sour after they split.

Just a day later, Lucy posted a statement of support for Alan despite his remarks. She said: "Just wanted to put the record straight.
