I’m A Celebrity champion Scarlett Moffatt has found a unique way to become well-read – watching TV with the subtitles on. The 30-year-old reckons it is a much easier way to boost her vocabulary than reading books.
Scarlett revealed: “I don’t normally set New Year’s resolutions, but this year, I said, ‘I really want to read more.’ So I’ve been putting the subtitles on every show I’ve watched.” Her police officer partner Scott Dobinson, 36, has questioned her method for joining the ranks of the literati, however.
Former Gogglebox star Scarlett said: “Scott’s like, ‘That’s not reading’. But I’m, like, ‘Well, I’m learning words I didn’t know before’.” Scarlett already has a host of qualifications, including a degree in PE and sports coaching
