Matt Hancock escaped the I'm A Celeb jungle for a day with his campmates Sue Cleaver and Jill Scott. The celebrities won a day on the beach for a Surf and Turf after winning a contest against other contestants on the ITV reality show.

Ahead of tonight's episode being aired, the winning trio have been seen enjoying some down time as they escaped the camp for the afternoon.They were taken to the spot on the beach by helicopter after winning the challenge against the likes of Mike Tindall and Owen Warner, as writes the Mirror.As they took in their idyllic surroundings, former health secretary Matt could be seen cooking up the Surf and Turf for Corrie actress Sue and footballer Jill.The campers had tried to help Hollyoaks actor Owen Warner win a spot at the table by collecting balls for him in a task which required winners to have the most balls.

But the star was left disappointed when he missed out. Ahead of the trip in the Bush Telegraph, Mike Tindall admitted: "On a beach, BBQ, surf and turf… sounds absolutely amazing."Chris Moyles admitted: "I should go, ‘Look guys, even if I win, I’ll give it to someone else’, but I won’t."The day trip comes after Matt Hancock 's girlfriend Gina Coladangelo touched down in Brisbane airport to show her support for her partner.Gina was snapped London's Heathrow on Tuesday, as she made the 24-hour journey to Australia ready to greet her partner whenever he leaves the jungle.The businesswoman arrived at the airport after jetting business class into Oz on Singapore Airlines, where tickets can be as high as £11,000.Get the latest celebrity gossip and telly news sent straight to your inbox.
