Gillian McKeith left I’m a Celeb fans in stitches this week after she revealed the large quantities of contraband she smuggled into the new South African camp.
And now the 63 year old has claimed she didn’t understand the definition of the word before she began to unpack a myriad of no-go items from her self titled “spicy knickers.” After leaving in an unexpected trial twist with fellow camp mate Shaun Ryder - who was famously Gillian’s arch nemesis during their 2010 jungle spell - the TV personality has spoken in her exit interview about her iconic contraband attempts. "Well this contraband thing is very confusing to me as I have a different definition of contraband," she explained. "I now know in terms of the show, they have a different understanding of that word.
I did ask them to get a definition from the dictionary and read it to me and see if we could both come to some sort of agreement!" Gillian then revealed that she gave up the contents of her “double bra,” which she not only used to smuggle in seasoning and other miscellaneous items, but also because she thought it might “be helpful to take [her] cup size from a B to a DD.” “I only did that because I wanted my figure to be more voluptuous in the jungle.
And I did that but using teabags, mints and almonds,” she quipped. She continued: “And then, the next day, once I fully understood their meaning of contraband, I revealed my ‘spicy knickers’.
