Coleen Rooney took part in her first Bushtucker Trial on Sunday night's episode of I’m A Celebrity, alongside radio presenter Dean McCullough.The wife of Wayne Rooney was covered in insects during the trial, which was dubbed 'Absolute Carnage'.

However, she and Dean managed to win an impressive nine stars for camp. In a shocking turn of events, Rebekah Vardy praised the mum of four for her efforts in the trial.

In her column for The Sun, giving commentary on the show that also features McFly's Danny Jones, Tulisa Constovolas and Love Island’s Maura Higgins, Rebekah said: “It’s blowing a gale at home but there’s definitely a rumble in the jungle. “Luckily it’s not in the campmates’ stomachs, as Teabag Dean had Coleen with him for Absolute Carnage and they managed to get nine stars.

I’m applauding Coleen. She really held her nerve as the mealworms, cockroaches and rats crawled all over her.” The surprising praise comes after Rebekah’s constant comments shading the super-WAG, 38, and her campmates.
