ok.co.ukHeartbroken Barry McGuigan broke down in tears during an emotional interview on Good Morning Britain today.The boxer, 63, who left the I'm A Celeb jungle alongside Maura Higgins last night, was speaking about his daughter Danika, who died aged just 33.
Barry had been praised by viewers for opening up about the tragedy to his jungle co-stars. Speaking to Kate Garraway and Rob Rinder today he said: "It’s the single most devastating thing that’s happened to me.
Losing my daughter was dreadful. I never recovered from it. It’s important I do chat about it. I know she’s there somewhere.
Her life was so sad, the most important time in her life when things were looking great, she got cancer and died." Referring to his I'm A Celeb co-star Danny Jones, he added: "In time, we learn how to deal with it.
