The singer, 35, waved goodbye to his wife, also 35, about a month ago when the author had to self-isolate in North Wales before appearing on the show.
Giovanna was also parted from their three sons - Buzz, Buddy and Max - as she headed off to prepare for the long-running ITV series.
On Sunday night's show, the campmates received a gift from home courtesy of their loved ones, but Giovanna, AJ Pritchard and Jordan North all missed out.
