The I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! camp has been battered by torrential rain, leaving parts of the jungle flooded and production crews for the hit ITV show scrambling to manage the chaos.
Four days of continuous downpours have wreaked havoc around the camp in the Australian jungle, with nearby roads submerged and access to certain areas severely restricted.
In last night’s episode, hosts Ant and Dec were even forced to deliver their live segment huddled under umbrellas, braving the relentless rain while standing in front of the drenched jungle backdrop and joking: “'It's raining Koalas and Dingos here!” Despite their gags, the soggy conditions add an extra level of difficulty to the already tough experience - with last year’s contestants Jamie Lynn Spears and Grace Dent both leaving the show early in the face of gruelling weather conditions.
New photos from the camp show paths and the surrounding areas completely submerged in water, with vehicles attempting to get through deep water and signs warning of road closures. The constant downpours have not only tested the patience of the camp’s celebrity contestants but has also caused serious logistical headaches for the production team, who must now work to keep the show running smoothly despite the weather disruptions.
