Get ready to party, Fandroids! We're about to celebrate a true "Q.U.E.E.N.," because superstar Janelle Monáe is coming to New York City Pride this year.
On Friday (March 6), NYC Pride announced their first slate of performers for their 2020 Pride Island festival, taking place from Friday, June 26 to Sunday, June 28.
Revealing their Saturday lineup, NYC Pride revealed that The ArchAndroid herself Janelle Monáe would be serving as the evening's main headliner, with support from other acts including Betty Who, Pussy Riot, Luisa Sonza, and DJ duo Coco and Breezy. “Pride means so much to so many of us, and to have the opportunity to share my live performance during Pride has always been a dream,” Monáe said in a statement released with the news.
