Choosing where to live is a difficult decision and one that can impact the course of your life. Whilst some people are happy to never venture outside of their hometown, others have ambitions to move much further afield to pursue their dreams.

Esha Sharma made the bold move to leave her life and family in Dubai to move to the UK by herself at just 17 years old. Striving to have the best higher education and cultural experience, Esha chose to relocate to Manchester and picked Affinity Living as her new home - and she has never looked back since.

Dubai is a very vibrant city, it’s so forward and innovative, but I’ve kind of seen it become the place that it is today. When I was little, it was just pretty much a desert. "I wanted to move to either the USA or the UK to pursue my higher education.
