A Stagecoach employee for 23 years, he said he volunteered to work on Christmas Day to 'make up' for a period of shielding at the start of the pandemic."I'm just glad I could help in some way by working Christmas," he said."The buses in general are very quiet and the roads are quiet at the moment."I've was shielding earlier in the year because I have COPD but I wanted to give something back so I'm working Christmas Day"I was worried at.
