A former busker has said there were times he was unable to sing because of the damage his crack addiction did to his vocal chords.
Now Laurie Wright, 29, hopes he can do his bit to help others. He is releasing his single 'Cold Turkey on Christmas Day' on December 4 and giving all the profits to Shelter and Young Minds charities.
He wrote the single after coming out of rehab last Christmas, MyLondon reports.
