Few knew much about Javier Hernandez when he left Mexico to join Manchester United as a teenager. But it did not take long for the man known as Chicharito to endear himself to United fans after his arrival in 2010.

And as the Red Devils head to Stamford Bridge, Chelsea fans will be relieved the days of the Mexican are long behind them. It was Chelsea in the firing line when Hernandez instantly marked his arrival in English football, finding the net in the 2010 Community Shield with an unorthodox finish from close range in a 3-1 win.

Whilst the goal was not the prettiest, firing the ball off his own face and into the net, it was exactly what Hernandez needed to get off the mark.
