Fresh of the release of her brand new novel Freckles, Cecelia Ahern has admitted that now she’s heading towards 40, she’s decided to cut booze out of her life and instead wants to be ‘fit and healthy and just live her life.

Talking about her pregnancy with her third child, daughter blossom born in 2019, the best-selling author said: ‘I was pregnant, couldn’t drink, had a baby, straight into lockdown, no one to hold the baby if I was hungover.’ After welcoming her baby girl, Cecelia decided to keep up the clean living and to focus her energy on more positive pursuits like going to the theatre, having fun, and being active Speaking to RTE, Cecelia said: ‘before lockdown, I was really enjoying doing loads of different things.
