A girls' night out ended in terror for a group of young women. One was sexually assaulted in her flat and her friend was slapped by the culprit as she desperately tried to make him leave.
It is suspected the victim may have had her drink spiked before her, and the two other women were followed by a man as they left a bar in Manchester's Northern Quarter.
Then, sinisterly giving the false impression that he was concerned about the state of the victim who was by now semi-conscious, he walked with them to a flat in the Green Quarter and invited himself in.
New details of the incident have emerged as Greater Manchester Police renew their appeal for information. Officers have released an image of a man who they believe could be able to help them with their enquiries and details of the report made to the them by the victim and one of her friends.
