'I cry myself to sleep after finding out Mum has a terminal illness' says Big Brother's Imogen Thomas

Model and Big Brother star Imogen Thomas has shared that there are days when she cries herself to sleep, after her mum was diagnosed with motor neurone disease.The 41-year-old revealed the news of her mum's terminal diagnosis six months ago in a heart-breaking Instagram post.

She has since confirmed that she is focusing on caring for her mum, Janet. Sharing the realities of looking after a family member with MND, Imogen told the Daily Mail, that her focus is now on "making memories" as she feels "robbed" of time with Janet, 61.

She said: "It's heartbreaking and I feel robbed. "I've already lost my Dad but then for her to be diagnosed with a terminal illness, that's just it.

It's a big life change. I don't want to sit here and moan about it. "They're your parents and you love them so you just get on with it but it has been a challenge." Revealing how it has impacted her life, Imogen added: "There are days where I cry myself to sleep because I fell robbed. "I see mothers and daughters going shopping and feel jealous but should I?
