Model and Big Brother star Imogen Thomas has shared that there are days when she cries herself to sleep, after her mum was diagnosed with motor neurone disease.The 41-year-old revealed the news of her mum's terminal diagnosis six months ago in a heart-breaking Instagram post.
She has since confirmed that she is focusing on caring for her mum, Janet. Sharing the realities of looking after a family member with MND, Imogen told the Daily Mail, that her focus is now on "making memories" as she feels "robbed" of time with Janet, 61.
She said: "It's heartbreaking and I feel robbed. "I've already lost my Dad but then for her to be diagnosed with a terminal illness, that's just it.
It's a big life change. I don't want to sit here and moan about it. "They're your parents and you love them so you just get on with it but it has been a challenge."
