This is the chilling note found inside the home of a nurse accused of killing seven babies. The handwritten post-it note, believed to have been scrawled on by Lucy Letby, was found during a raid of her house on Westbourne Road in Chester, England.
One sentence reads: "I am evil I did this" in capital letters. Another reads: "I don't deserve to live. I killed them on purpose because I'm not good enough to care for them.
I am a horrible evil person." Other words such as 'hate' and 'not good enough' have been scrawled onto the letter and boldly circled.
The note was presented at Manchester Crown Court today as the 32-year-old is also accused of trying to kill 10 or more babies during her career between June 2015 and June 2016.
