EXCLUSIVE: Six and a half years after The Mindy Project ended its Hulu run, Mindy Kaling is back at the streamer with a new single-camera comedy, Murray Hill.
The project, from Warner Bros. TV, where Kaling is under an overall deal, was taken out at the beginning of the year. In a tough marketplace, the project garnered interest from multiple buyers, landing at Hulu in a competitive situation with a script-to-series commitment.

Kaling executive produces via her Kaling International and its overall deal at WBTV alongside 3 Arts Entertainment’s Howard Klein.
