Michael Schneider Variety Editor at Large The lines between Hulu and ABC (already programmed jointly under head Craig Erwich) continue to blur, as the Alphabet web unveiled a midseason schedule heavy on repurposed hits from the streamer.
That includes the addition of Hulu’s “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,” which will air on Mondays at 10 p.m. starting Jan. 27 following “The Bachelor.” Also getting a broadcast run on ABC, starting Jan.
30: Hulu docuseries “Perfect Wife: The Mysterious Disappearance of Sherri Papini,” which will air Thursdays at 10 p.m., leading out of ABC’s long-delayed true crime series “Scamanda.” Additionally, ABC will bring back Hulu’s “Only Murders in the Building” for another broadcast run (after running Season 1 in January 2024) — this time, Season 2 of the comedy will run Thursdays at 9 p.m.
via two-hour blocks for the first four weeks of January 2025 (starting Jan. 2). That Hulu x ABC collab is among several big changes the Alphabet net has in store for midseason.
