justjared.comA new trailer that is getting so much buzz is the upcoming Hulu movie Bad Hair! The film is a horror satire set in 1989 and it follows an ambitious young woman (Elle Lorraine) who gets a weave in order to succeed in the image-obsessed world of music television.
However, her flourishing career comes at a great cost when she realizes that her new hair may have a mind of its own. The star-studded cast also includes Vanessa Williams, Lena Waithe, Laverne Cox, Jay Pharoah, Kelly Rowland, Blair Underwood, James Van Der Beek, Yaani King Mondschein, and Usher.
Bad Hair was written and directed by Justin Simien, who previously wrote and directed the movie Dear White People and the TV series of the same name.
