Drivers are being warned of delays following reports of a six-vehicle smash near Glasgow Airport.Traffic Scotland is urging drivers to be cautious on approach to J29 and J30 following the incident at noon on August 17.It is not currently known how long delays are currently.
However, traffic can be seen building up on the westbound carriageway.Images show dozens of cars backed up on the busy central Scotland motorway.
It is unknown if anyone has been injured in the crash.A spokesperson for Traffic Scotland said: "The M8 between J29 and J30 heading westbound there is reports of a 6 vehicle accident.
Drivers are advised to use caution on approach and expect delays. "Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.We'll be bringing you the very latest updates, pictures and video on this breaking news story.
