Huge new warehouse could be built near Bolton Wanderers stadium
manchestereveningnews.co.ukPlans have been submitted for a massive new warehouse close to the Bolton Wanderers stadium. The proposals would mean demolishing existing employment buildings on Mansell Way to create a single building with around 33,000 sqm of industrial floor space.
The warehouse is currently occupied by Essity which stores and distributes paper products. A second building currently on the site is currently unused.
That building was last used in the early 2000s as a Tesco supermarket. Paragon Business Park is directly to the north and next to that is St Josephs Roman Catholic High School & Sports College and its playing fields.
Bolton Wanderers’ Toughsheet Stadium is 350 metres away and the Middlebrook retail park and the current Tesco Extra supermarket is across the road from the site.
