Two women suffered spinal injuries after falling from a beauty spot above Dovestone Reservoir. The incident happened at the Trinnacle at Raven Stones just after midday on Sunday (January 23).
It was reported two women had fallen from the edge of the hill onto a path below. Firefighters, police, ambulance crews, an air ambulance and two mountain rescue teams all rushed to the scene.
A medical assessment determined the women would be treated for spinal injuries due to the height they had fallen from. They were then transported to hospital along with a team doctor. The casualties' companions were escorted off the hill to their car at the main car park.
