A huge cannabis farm with a street value worth tens of thousands of pounds has been discovered after cops swooped in on a property in Wigan.
On Wednesday officers stormed an address on Walthew Lane in Platt Bridge and found swathes of cannabis plants being grown inside the building.
The huge haul has an estimated street value of £30,000, according to Greater Manchester Police (GMP). The forces have said no arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing. It was found the electricity in the building had been bypassed and Electricity North West were forced to attend and ensure the property was safe.
