Hudson Taylor's new album Loving Everywhere I Go is heading to Number 1 on the Official Irish Albums Chart. Brothers Harry and Alfie Hudson-Taylor are leading at the midweek mark of the week, just shy of a 2:1 lead over their nearest competitor Lewis Capaldi (2).
The folk duo scored the most CD and vinyl sales so far this week. Hudson Taylor's debut album Singing for Strangers peaked at Number 3 back in 2015, while their Feel Again EP topped out at Number 4 in 2018, which would make their new record their third Top 5 entry should it keep up momentum.
If Hudson Taylor secure the Number 1 by Friday, they'll be the first Homegrown act to top the charts in 2020. Six Irish acts led the Top 50 in 2019.
